I have a few of you on Facebook, but I was just wondering who uses such sites. Mayhap it's a bit late now considering most of you have disappeared into the depths of real life or some such nonsense, but I am making this thread nonetheless.
So, anyone have an account on Facebook? Yes? No? Maybee?
I also encourage haters to give in and join too. I understand there are things to hate about these sorts of sites, but this all stems down to who YOU accept as a friend on those sites. If you don't accept idiots, you don't get idiocy and it's a nice way to keep up with people and such.
Not exactly sure if this is breaking some sort of rule or something. I'm guessing not ... but oh well.

I'm on Facebook, Twitter, and Last.FM, but that's about it, really. I rarely visit my Facebook page, though.

Absolutely detest social networking sites and I doubt i'm going to bother with them any time soon. For the most part i'll be adding people i'm already acquainted with who can easily contact me through a number of means already so I cannot really be bothered. Besides, all this Facebook hype... Give it another 2 years at most and then some other upstart of a networking site will arrive and people will jump ship like they did with Myspaz. I have to admit, I did chuckle a fair bit at how Myspaz got absolutely one shotted by Facebook. Either way, I think it's pretty obvious what my stance is on these type of sites.

I feel the same about those "social networking" sites, actually. Facebook (or, as I call it, Stalkerbook) is the fad for the moment. As you said, give it a year or so, and some new site will be "the thing".
Hm, I finally got a Google Wave invite, so I've been playing around with that. There doesn't seem to be anything that remarkably new with it. But, it is a neat way of doing email conversations.

hahahahaha, Google Wave. That's funny.
It actually would've been useful for show notes during a podcast recording, but oh well.
Google+ on the other hand.....nope. I keep forgetting about that.
Twitter's still where I mainly post.
